Old manual lenses on DSLRs are fun, if a bit demanding. Still, I had my share of this fun already. I have a bunch of Nikon F-mount lenses and a "dandelion" adapter for Olympus 4/3. The one I use most is a Series E 50/1.8. Sharp from f/2.8 to about f/11, it is a nice macro lens when used with extension tubes.
I'm hearing that old OM Zuiko lenses, especially the 50/1.4, are among the sharpest lenses available, and have great bokeh. So now I'm wondering if I should get one. I don't have a compelling motivation to get one, but it seems like an interesting idea to ponder on...
